We have been looking for hangers like these for about 8-9 years. They have disappeared from all the stores where we are and have been extremely difficult to find online at a reasonable price...until these. They are solid & beautiful. The hook seems to be well connected. They are currently hanging heavy winter/leather coats and protective motorcycle jackets without breaking a sweat.
I am always in need of a good hanger or two for all the clothes that I have. Especially winter stuff like sweaters and coats. So I needed something that was going to hold them all in place while I wasn't wearing them. These arrived just on time because I have already started buying warm clothes. I got to say I am impressed with them. My Columbia coat holds perfect on it and it always slips off the plastic hangers,but these hold it very well. I put two sweaters on my other two that I got and they went on with no problem. There was no worrying about bending them into shape and stretching them out like my other hangers that I got. I especially love the color. The dark wood is very pretty and shiny!!! I have not tried to hang my jeans on them because I fold those and put them up,but they work perfect for coats,sweaters and shirts!!! Nice quality hangers. The three pack extra wide rounded shoulders wooden coat hangers by J.S are very sturdy and well made. I think it's the perfect size hangers for coats and suits. The hangers has a bar on the bottom, perfect to hang pants. I can hang my light to the extra heavy winter coats without having to worry about the hangers breaking, bending, or sliding off. The wooden finish gives it a nice, smooth look to it. There were no sharp edges. I received this product at no cost in exchange for my honest review.
This come with three heavy duty hangers. These are good for coats and suits. They are a dark cherry color wood and the bar for the pants has a plastic tube on it so they don't slip off. These remind me of hangers you would find in upscale men's suit stores. The hooks swivel 360 degrees. These are very durable and will last a long time. I love a good solid hanger, especially ones made out of wood. These hangers are beautiful, solid and made from wood with large spaces for the shoulders of a suit, shirt, coat, etc. and even have a part to hang your pants from, if you decide to use these as suit hangers, or even to hang a scarf from if it’s a coat, this way everything is already together for you. Even the part that hangs is solid, made out of metal, which fits so well with these hangers. My husband is an attorneys and these are perfect for his suit jackets. We knew that regular hangers, which cut unnecessarily into the seam between the sleeves and breast of the jacket, were not good for the suit jackets, but the wood hangers at our local suiting store are RIDICULOUSLY expensive. I even had a salesman at our local mens wear store (I'll let you guess the store, lol) try to sell me one of their hangers when I brought in a suit for tailoring. He told me that the hanger I had my husband's suit on was too narrow so when I told him, fine, show me your hangers and let's compare, they were the exact same width, haha! Anyway, highly recommend! They are read wood hangers, great for men's suit jackets, but they don't have a strong wood smell so the jacket doesn't smell like wood.
Exactly as described, nicely finished, and sturdy. I like the angle of the arms as well - rather than sloping forward, the weight feels more evenly distributed so heavy garments hang more nicely regardless of where the seam falls.
I chose these wooden hangers because I want wooden hangers without the bulk. Others are nicer, yes, but they take up so much room. These are thinner. They aren't finished as well as their cousins, but they look much better than plastic. On the other hand, they do take up more room than plastic, so I call it a compromise. I've been using them for more than two weeks and have found that they provide enough friction so that my clothes don't fall all over the floor. I'm very satisfied.
