Guidelines To Choose Patio Umbrella - BizarkDeal

Guidelines To Choose Patio Umbrella
Ask yourself several questions.

Do you have a backyard or swimming-pool or a big outdoor place?
How many times do you wanna buy patio umbrellas under the burning sun?

However, it's not that easy to choose satisfactory patio umbrella. You must know the following 7 guidelines to best suit your backyard before you purchase the sunbrella. Keep in mind your specific requirements always. You can just easily ask yourself several questions.

First, position.
Where are you going to place the umbrella in your backyard?
Why is the location very important? You need to consider which kind of umbrella you need as there are two kinds of umbrellas, free standing and through table.
If you have a large outdoor areas or a swimming pool, choose free standing umbrellas.
If you have patio tables in your backyard, of course, choose through-table umbrella.
Therefore, the umbrella type depends on the position.

Second, Size.
How large shade do you need to cover approximately?
No idea? Just go to measure the table, chairs or the spaces you need to cover. If the diameter is about 7 feet, then choose 7 feet umbrella? You would regret if you had purchased 7 feet umbrella. The basic rule is to choose at least 4-5 feet larger than the diameter you measure.

Third, Kinds.
What kind of umbrella do you need?  Centre pole? Crank and tilt? Cantilever? Or Pavilion?
Let me introduce them one by one.
The most common type of patio umbrella, centre pole, is supported by a central pole. Can you imagine?
The ribs of the patio umbrella spread out from the central pole. It requires solid and heavy stand so that it can survive any weather.

The crank and tilt umbrella, similar to the centre pole umbrella but higher level, have a crank device between the canopy and the pole, so that you can rotate the umbrella in the most comfortable angle. This kind of patio umbrella can easily block out the sun in any direction, which suits the best for large outdoor areas.

The cantilever umbrella is better than the centre pole and the crank and tilt umbrella for providing larger complete shade. It can be rorated 360 degrees and positioned wherever you need. However, it requires heavier stand or base as it hangs to the side of the frame.

The pavilion can provide larger shade than the above three kinds. It's a square-shaded structure. There are four legs to support the umbrella so that it can shade many people. It's perfect for a party or picnic. It's also be used in parks or beaches.

Last, other aspects, including materials, tilt methods, umbrella frames and stands.
The 3 mainly materials include shade cloth, canvas and PVC. The main differences are whether they can block UV light and whether they are waterproof.
Shade cloth can block 90-95% UV rays, but is not waterproof although it can resist little rain.
A canvas canopy can block out the sun completely for their durable fabric, but it cannot resist the rain.
A PVC canopy can block 100% UV light and resist the rain and other bad weather.

The 3 tilt methods include collar tilt, crank tilt and push-button. The most common method is collar tilt. The patio umbrella tilts when you rotate the collar on the frame.

The frames are very easy to choose, wood or metal. Metal frames are better than wood.

The through-table umbrella requires less than the free standing umbrella in considering to purchase umbrella stand. Usually a heavy-duty stand can survive any weather.
