The umbrella is very easy to open and close, my wife and I can both operate it without issue. The installation took 5 minutes, there is nothing to assemble other than 4 bolts in the base (cross stand). Then you simply set the umbrella in the base. So we could enjoy it right out of the box.
We did have a small problem with the handle, and I wrote to BizarkDeal. They replied the next day and sent out a replacement free of charge. In my opinion their customer service went about and beyond.
All in all I would recommend this product as well as as the company that sells it (BizarkDeal), it has really improved the appearance of our deck and makes the entire area much cooler on hot summer days.
P.S. In the photo of the base you can see one of the hurricane straps that comes with the weight bags that I use to secure the handle, this is probably not necessary, I do it to mitigate the strain on the locking mechanism when it's windy.

This was perfect for the deck. Unfortunately, we didn't have a lot of room but ended up mounting bottom to desk which worked perfectly! Promptly received. Highly recommend this product and seller.
