I've been looking for a light weight versatile guitar for our family. This is the one! ! The shape is a rounded hallow body which is excellent for my smaller people to learn on. The neck isn't to wide so my children are able to hold the neck well. The action is east and much better to learn power cords on then our other guitars. It is holding it's tune very nicely. I love the beautiful inlay all around the outside. Also we like the wooden leaf work! It is both masculine and feminine. I feel like or has a bright tone to it and a clear strum. The electric has a nice sound also. I'm glad it is versatile and the sound is nice either way. We have been having fun together on this guitar. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants an easy learning guitar that is light weight and easy to travel with.
I was so excited to finally find and receive this guitar delivered to my door so I could learn to play AND it was packaged very carefully. As soon as I opened it I was ecstatic at how beautiful it looked just in the package! After I got all the wrappings off of it, I loved how beautiful the wood was and the extra personal carvings on the front that made it fun just to pick up and hold! It was already strung so all I had to do was a little fine “tuning” and it was ready to play!! The side has an extra tunings equalizer along with a battery check and can be plugged in to a speaker (amp) if you so desire. It has 6 strings and is for a right-handed player. The rosewood, spruce and maple pieces along with the chrome parts and metal guitar strings make this a beautiful piece of music. This guitar is very reasonable priced, however, the tone and sound quality from the instrument equals that of my friends instruments that were much more expensive. The best thing though, is that because of the durability and fine craftsmanship I know I can enjoy and have many hours of playing with this guitar. I will definitely give this a five star rating and will have many happy hours of playing it! It plays acoustically and I can play it in my home, deck or even on camping trips on the river or the beach! I’m very happy with this instrument!

It comes pre strung so all you need to do is the tuning part. On the side of the guitar you have the equalizer (EQ) to control the frequencies of sound for the amp to get the perfect bass and treble desire. The plug for the amp is on the bottom. The guitar itself is very pretty with the rosewood, spruce and maple pieces and chrome parts and metal guitar strings. The cutouts are more than visual as they allow you to play acoustic with this electric guitar. Overall I am happy with this guitar and recommend it as there is nothing really I would change about it.

I was looking for a guitar my son could learn to play that would sound good but not break the bank. I know there are a lot of $70 guitars out there that look cool but use plastic strings or the tuning keys don’t actually work, or the sound is just Blah. And there was no way I was going to spend a thousand bucks on something he might only play for a short season (#kids). He is new to the guitar world but has a good grasp of other stringed instruments so sound quality is more important to him than it might be for an early beginner, so this one seemed like it could be a good fit.
The guitar arrived ahead of schedule and it was so beautiful just sitting in the box! I almost felt like I was in Wayne’s World, except I wasn’t in a music store and it wasn’t a Strat. The detail on this thing is really cool. The natural wood body with abalone binding is very classy, along with the rosewood bridge (you can see the texture). The leafy cutouts surrounding the soundholes are a nice touch, and almost give it that “folksy” feel, which I’m admittedly into. We had to tighten some strings and tune it up a little but she was purring like a kitten in no time! The sound quality is really nice, very crisp and full.
Last night, we set it up with an amp because, well, playing with an amp is kinda awesome and we wanted to experience the electric side. Enter: Stairway to Heaven attempt number one. We might need to work on that one a little bit more but as for the aesthetics of the guitar and the way it sounds, so far, so good! You plug it in and there is an equalizer on the body so you can control the output. It might take a little practice to get that part down, but I call this a win-win. I’m seriously happy with this purchase and look forward to watching my son learn to play his first, real guitar. I might even ditch my own acoustic to play this one when the kiddo isn’t around. Does it have buttons to put a strap on it?
- Mine did and I\'m happy with the plugged in sound it seems a little weak straight acoustic. Still pleased with it though.
