Great hardware and quality canvas. Very pleased
Had a trampling at the back yard and my son love to play it so much. He was very sad for hot day or raining day and he can't play with it. Considered some kind of shades from summer time and finally decided to buy this item. Received it few days ago.and installed during weekend. Took 10 minutes to drill and put screw on the hook. Drill a small hole before put screw in make it much easier. So excited we can play out side at rain day also now. Believe it will work for sunlight at summer also.
My husband had a relatively easy time putting up this Cool Area sun shade. It came with a kit to install it and he installed it over our son's welding table which is outside on the side of our house. The shade provides enough coverage to keep him and his equipment out of the direct sun and weather. It keeps him about 10 degrees cooler than he would be if he were welding in the sun. I chose a vibrant blue color which is my son's favorite color. The material is thick and durable and provides excellent coverage. There are so many other uses we could use the shade for if my son would ever decide to move his welding machine.
This sun shade is made of extremely great quality, and durable material. It is a breathable fabric though, which allows for air to still travel through it so underneath this shade doesn't become a hot box. It does have great coverage from the sun, though. The hardware that comes with it is also very high quality, industrial pieces. (we didn't use the hardware for this initial setup because hubby knows me too well, I want to move it slightly already) When opening it up, you will need some space and you should definitely plan out your placement before opening it. It is a sail, so if it's slightly windy! This is going up over my sitting bench where I attempt to not catch sunstroke while watching the kids play in the front yard so it will be a great relief for me! and relief for the kids when they need a break to reapply their sunscreen! It's been raining but I was anxious to place this out, so as you can tell from the video, it doesn't keep out the rain (of course not because it's a breathable fabric).
