really hard time getting a replacement. So anyone buying a dog crate find out about replacement patrs prior to purchase.
We purchased this to use for our dog on a trip 4 months ago. We ended up liking it so much that we now use it as her regular crate. We were wavering between two different sizes and went with the larger size and were happy we did. Our 40-50lb pit mix fits perfectly with wiggle room and the crate still fits nicely in the back of our sedan. It was easy to put together and we've had zero issues with if over the last couple months.
I love this! I was fostering a 3-5 week old abandoned kitten that I found. He was in here with a litter box in the back blankets and towels in the front plus his food and water and some stuffed animals. The. Without any of this in there the blanket and towels where down and the kitten and my dog who is a corgi/Pomeranian would fit comfortably in here together and could still move around. I though about putting this out side with some blankets in it for the stray cats because the door dose come off and it's very durable that I think. It worth the money. Also would worm great in my grooming garage to hold pets while I'm working on grooming another.
good price & product..easy to install.. my mid size cat fits well, but make sure to check the measurements..
What I particularly like is that I can just clip the top and bottom together or add the bolts to hold it together if I plan to carry it with the dog in it. I only bought it to keep in the car for safety so I don't really need to put all the bolts on it but it is still very secure with the 4 clips.
My 20 pound beagle/hound mix has flown in this twice, works great. We're equally happy with it as a regular in-house kennel as well.
I was a bit hesitant about the purchase as I had seen cheaper ones at a local pet store but I did not return it. Upon receiving it, I assembled it easily. It is of great quality, durable, and fits air travel requirements, including metal fittings/screws. Last weekend I used it for air travel and it looks neat after the round trip, despite the hard handling that comes with it. Just be careful of the sizing. I looked into the sizing charts and it just fits my dog, while I had bought it to leave a bit more of room (but the dog can perfectly stand up and spin).
