This is great umbrella. It was simple to put together and has a nice look to it. It tilts easily from side to side when the sun moves and it wide enough to provide lots of coverage!!
Here's another use for this umbrella! I needed a shelter from rain and sun for my two donkeys. Received this umbrella from Bizarkdeal in two days, set it up in minutes by myself (a 61 year old cowgirl lol) and the donkeys love it!! I dug a hole about 20" deep and put it in, strapped the umbrella pole to the round pen and voila! My donks no longer have to eat in the rain! If it lasts at least a year, I'll be happy and will replace it with another. If it lasts longer, I'll be happily surprised and patting myself on the back for finding an easy solution for providing Taco and Miss Carolyn some much needed shelter.

We bought a patio umbrella from a local store a short while ago and put it up. A light breeze came up and it took us less than a half hour to decide that umbrella was not going to work for us. The wind was blowing it quite a bit - and it was not a big wind, but really just a breeze. We immediately packed it back up and returned it. We started looking on Amazon for a patio umbrella. There are a lot of them - and we read all of the reviews. What we liked about this one is that it has 8 steel ribs (the other one had 6 ribs). The wind was breezy today and this umbrella barely moved. Around the edge of the canopy where each of the ribs is attached there is good support so that the fabric where it is attached shouldn't tear. The crank is easy to use and works quite smoothly. We have not used the tilt because we don't need it. The fabric on this is heavier than on the umbrella we returned. The pole has more heft to it and is stronger than the one we returned. Tomorrow the wind is supposed to be 20 mph so we lowered the canopy and wrapped the included straps around it to keep the umbrella protected in the wind. The straps have a Velcro closure. The umbrella we returned did not have the straps which we thought was an important thing to have (after we saw the other umbrella move a lot in the wind and knew that we would need something to keep the umbrella closed when the weather required it to be kept closed.
We had been concerned about the fact that the top pole and the bottom pole screwed together. We thought it might be too cumbersome to lift and put in the hole in the patio table. It wasn't as bad as we thought and, for us,went in quite easily. And last, but not least, we love the color. It is described as dark green and I think of it as hunter green. Our house is brown and it looks so good on our patio, Oh! The base we have is quite heavy which probably helps the umbrella stay in place better. But it did not help the temporary umbrella stop moving with the breeze.

Sturdy, easy to assemble and use, this umbrella gave my wife and I relief from the afternoon sun on our deck. The cranking mechanism raises and lowers the umbrella quickly and it tilts easily to shade you as the sun gets lower in the sky. The umbrella seems to be well made.
Purchased two (2) Abba Market Umbrellas which were received this past Tuesday (07/14). These umbrellas were to replace two (TropiShade) that were recently purchased this month on Amazon for half the price. Just not happy. The TropiShade umbrellas appeared to be cheaply made and flimsy. There is/was no comparison between the two. The Abba umbrellas are made of good thick cloth material and appear to be exceptionally sturdy. I am extremely happy with the Abba umbrellas and in the company which offers them on Bizarkdeal. As a result, today, I purchase the rocking chaise lounge also by Abba and am looking forward to receiving it on Friday. I am sure you could spend twice the price, buy why would you. Abba is highly recommended....five stars.
This is a high quality umbrella. The fabric is heavy and the color (forest green in our case) is rich. The antique bronze powder coating is very attractive and should hold up against nicks & scratches. The canopy has a Velcro strap to tie it when closed which is helpful when transporting or storing the umbrella. Some reviewers have commented that the crank handle is made of plastic. This is not the case, it appears to be made of cast aluminum and should be durable in the long run. This umbrella is a little more expensive but is made of quality materials and I believe it will outlast cheaper models by many seasons.
I have been very happy with this umbrella. We have had it for a year and the color is keeping well. It is easy to use (open and close) and is very sturdy. I like that it is big (nine feet) as it covers most of our porch fully opened which keeps the floor cooler to walk on. It is also heavy so the wind won't toss it around. It is actually quite heavy so you'll need a good umbrella stand or you can use something heavy (like I did) to hold the stand in place so it does not tilt or move under the weight.
I've purchased Umbrella's that cost two to three times as much as this umbrella and they have the same exact pole and mechanism as this umbrella. The area I live in in Minnesota is often windy. Ultimately the wind weakens and breaks every pole at the crank or tilt mechanism at about year 3. Thus, it makes no sense spending $200 - $300 for a fancy umbrella. This umbrella is just prefect. I keep the umbrella fabric from previous umbrellas (they all fit the same 9 foot pole) and if one rips I always have a spare.
Bottom line: Great umbrella at a good price. Don't waste your money on a more expensive umbrella.

Bought this for our deck table over the summer. Very good quality and easy to use. We take it inside for the night and bring it back out whenever we want to use it, and I find it very easy to fold up and carry. Sturdy and well made, has survived many a strong wind so far!
It is exactly as pictured... And when I took it out of the carton, I was happy to see that it's constructed well... (i.e., heavy-duty aluminum framing... easy-to-use open/close/tile mechanism... AND 8 sturdy ribs..) So I''ll be curious to see if it lasts as many years as my previous one... (which had cost several times this price)...

This is just what we needed for our pool deck, the quality of the fabric and the post as well as the crank handle are perfect for us. And I love that the closed umbrella has it's own tie to prevent the wind from blowing up into the umbrella and taking off with our table -- an unfortunate experience we had last year because we hadn't put a tie around the umbrella when it was closed.
Exactly the color and size I wanted. Just hope it doesn't fade too quickly.
Umbrella arrived before before specified date. It was packaged very well, is exactly as described. I set it up and tested the mechanism, everything works. I can't wait to use it next summer.
