I have 3 dogs. A 25 lb. hyper-aggressive Australian Shepard / Boston Terrier mix, a 10 lb docile Poodle / Shih Tzu mix, and a very neurotic 3 lb. Pomeranian. I like to travel and very often I travel with my dogs. Having these charcoal pee pads come in hand when staying in hotels. These soak up a tremendous amount of liquid, are leak-proof, with charcoal lining that really helps keep down on the urine smell. Favorite bamboo charcoal mats performed as well if not better then the mats I bought are the pet store yet, they cost half as much!

I picked up the pee pad and it didn't drip. This is great when you're dealing with pet urine you don't want dripping all the way to the trash can.

I have five small dogs ranging from 15 to 3 pounds. We go through a lot of puppy pads, especially during winter. I have tried many brands and this is the first that actually keeps the smell of urine out of the house. I've read other reviews of folks complaining that they don't absorb enough. They absorb quite a bit for being a smaller sized pad but it does take a little longer than other pads I've used to completely do so. If you have a pup who is prone to tracking then they will certainly do so with this pad. But then again, they most likely will with others as well.
The reason I will stick with these pads from now on is: 1) Odor control is real. I love it and for a person who is sensitive to odors this means everything. 2) Dark coloring doesn't show wet spots once it has dried a bit which is nice when you have guests, etc. 3) While the absorption is not the top of the line, it is by no means shabby. It holds its own and then some. 4) Pricing is comparable to other brands that do far less.

Just got a new puppy and we are training him to use the pads so he can travel with us. I purchased these pads because of the added charcoal molecules and anti-bacterial ingredient which I was hoping would control odor especially in a hotel room - and it does!! These are great. You don't get that "fresh diaper" smell from them after use instead the charcoal simply absorbs the odor and the pad can even go in the garbage can inside! Amazing. Now if we can just the new puppy to work as well - ha!
I received these Bamboo Charcoal Floor Protection Training Pads just in time. My dog just had puppies and I try and train them while they're still small. These pads are the perfect size to use with the puppies. The best feature of these pads are that they neutralize odor. Compared to the pads I recently used, the charcoal pads soak up fluids very well. The box contain 100 pads which will last very long since the puppies are so small. The pads are very convenient and very useful!!!
These are much better than the regular white pads. They seem to soak up urine immediately, leaving minimal odor. I have three dogs 6-12 pounds, so quality pads are important. The only thing I would improve is the size. These are quite small and I have to lay out 2-3 at time to get the same coverage as the big ones. I get tired of that and flit back and forth between the bigger white ones, but as soon as these are available in the larger sizes, I am sticking with these 100% of the time. Seriously - if you have a puppy or a single dog, these are the way to go.
I have 2 big dogs who are in the house for several hours a day while I'm working. I don't like crating them so I have a designated area for them if they need to relieve themselves. I debated about buying the big dog pads but the for the price, these seemed a better value. I thought they felt thin and wasn't sure they wouldn't leak thru. But they've held up fine and seem to work as advertised. The only problem I have is probably specific to my dogs. They haven't quite outgrown the puppy stage yet and I do find they will tear up a pad on occasion. However, that's no fault of the product. I'm planning to purchase again.
These work great. My floor stays dry and my cat is who they are for, right outside the litter box because the dang cat loves to urinate on those mats they make, or on rugs if he doesn't have that mat... he seems to be accepting these alright and I sure am loving the difference. The backing on the bottom side actually does stay dry!
I do like these pads better than the white ones and I do even think they help with the odor although I never really leave mine down long enough to smell bad. They are the same size and I also like it that the color doesn't show so it's not so obvious what they are. I also purchased a roll of clear liner to go under them so if they miss the pad which happens often, it doesn't sit on my floor all day. I will say that it took a day or so for the dogs to use them, they seemed a little confused. I just left one used pad there and put two fresh ones on either side and that seemed to work.
These are very good quality. They do not leak and can hold numerous urine occurrences. I have been using them for 2 weeks now for my new pup. They absorb the urine quickly and the top then will be dry. After the urine spot is absorbed you cannot even tell where the dog urinated because the spot disappears. The charcoal works excellent, there is virtually no smell. Will buy again! Bottom line: No leak, no smell. Thick quality. Can use for a week before changing. I have a min pin pup.
