The assembly procedure is straight-forward, but it can get a bit tricky when dealing with the arm rests and the back cushion. I was able to do it myself but with much unnecessary struggle. I would suggest setting the chair on its side and using your own weight to help make your life much easier, or simply ask the help of someone around your for like one minute.
In terms of the chair, the supposed leather material is very soft to touch. In comparison with the flat cushions of my old chair, I was surprised by the soothing immediate support to both my thighs and lower back when I first sat on the chair. Material feels and looks premium, but I guess only time will tell if these materials are truly durable. As with all things, it really depends in both the frequency of use and care used when using the chair. As for now, I'm very happy with this chair.

We are changing / redecorating our home office and decided to get a new office chair. So happy that we decided to get this chair. It is so comfortable and beautiful, elegant but modern and at the same time sophisticated. Took us less than 10 minutes to put together and me personally, not handy at all. Was very simple. Leather is absolutely beautiful and so soft. I have had many office chairs , this one is one of the best ones I have had to date. Not only because of the beauty of it but because it is so comfortable. It is not a heavy chair, not too light, perfect weight. The wheels work perfect, smooth, do not make any sound, does not squeak. One of the best features is the headrest. Perfect, so soft on your head. You can also adjust the seat very easily to make the height of it higher or lower. I need that because some times my son who is in the photos , uses my chairs. He is very tall compared to me. He has to adjust it for himself and then once I go to sit on it, I have to adjust it. Adjusting takes seconds. One of the great features to this chair is you can stop it from tilting back. I have had chairs where some times I would lean back on it to stretch or just move and feel like I am going to fall back. This chair does not make feel this way. You can change it in seconds to prevent it from moving/tilting back. Love that! The part of the seat by your legs, oh my , so comfortable. Not stiff or straight, as if your legs are made to fit the chair and be comfortable. Even my back/lumbar is so comfortable in this chair. I honestly cannot find one thing that I do not like about this chair. My sister came over and said hey nice chair. She sat in it and now is trying to convince her boss to get her one for her office, she loves it and says the same thing as me about it. That says a lot because she does not change her items very often .
I am not the handiest person around the house, but this chair was easy to put together. I needed my husband to hold the chair back as I attached it and think it might have been difficult to attach the back on my own, but it could have been done. One word of caution is that you have to push the wheels into the slots way harder than you think they should go. It took a good bit of pressure before I heard that "pop" that told me the wheels were properly seated. The fasteners were grouped individually on a blister card and the correct size hex wrench is included. There is a little compartment marked "extras" that has a couple of extra screws and a screw cover, too. The assembled chair is firm enough to provide lumbar support yet is properly cushioned to prevent fatigue. The material also seemed fairly strong. There is both a height and tilt control. I found this chair to be worth the money.
I have been looking for a high back leather office chair for quite awhile. I did not want to spend over $200 for one as that is what the local stores in my area have them for. Therefore, I decided to order this one and I am happy I did. It is a very nice chair, it's very comfortable. It was very easy to assemble and is very comfortable. It has an adjustable height option and wheels on the bottom to move around easily. It also tilts maybe it a chair that can also be used to watch TV comfortably. It takes some time to adjust it to your preference but once it is set I had no issues with it.
I just received this chair today, put it together and I'm sitting on it typing right now. It's very comfortable. It was simple to put together and the only tool you need is supplied. The chair looks nice, feels good and is easy to assemble. What more do you need? I read most of the previous reviews before purchasing (thanks to all who bother to do this). The only complaint was from an extra tall person but since I am not, no worries. I'm quite happy with this purchase.

Very happy with the fit and finish of this chair. The packaging is well though out, protecting each piece of the chair from nicks and scratches. With another pair of hands involved (for the connecting of chair back to chair base), assembly takes place in under 15 minutes. The chairs available for under $100 all seem to be cheap and/or have unfavorable reviews. At $160, this fell right in the middle of my budget, and performs/looks like a chair twice it's price!
I love this desk chair! Not only does it support my lumbar, the seat does not give me fanny fatigue. The best desk chair I've ever used. I spend 8 hours everyday in this chair and leave it with no soreness, aches or pains. The adjustable height allows me to use it at my desk and my side table. And the wheels roll easily without sticking.

This Viva Office chair is a very comfortable chair. And gives a touch of style to any office. The high back of the chair allows for hours of comfort while sitting at your desk. And the bonded leather of the chair is soft to the touch and looks great. I have found that the chair is sturdy and easily adjustable to the desired position. And wheels on the chair glide smoothly for easy movement. I found the assembly of chair easy and all the needed supplies came with the chair.
12/28/15 After two weeks the tilt mechanism is frozen.
1/1/16 I the process of looking at the tilt mechanism I did notice that the knob was not centered, so with my hand I gave it a whack ant the tilted worked! I notified the company and they went so far to offer to ship a replacement part no charge. I do consider this very good service and would give their service 5 stars but alas I can only give the chair review 4 stars due to the difficulties. Now that the tilt works I like the chair
