I believe I bought this a couple years ago from either Petsmart or Petco. I intended to write a review on their site, but never got around to it. And now it appears that neither of those stores sell this litter box anymore. I bought this litter box for my aging cat who was having difficulty with her aim. Her pee would go just outside of the box, even with some other boxes that had higher sides. With this box my kitty has no trouble getting into it, and everything stays inside the box! I am very pleased with the product and highly recommend it!!
I love the fact that it is very large and high. I have 2 rescue cats, and the youngest likes to dig, dig, dig causing the litter to shoot everywhere in other boxes. The high bottom on this box helps tremendously with keeping scattered litter to a minimum. The older and much larger cat can easily sit to do his business (without having to scrunch down). I also love the clear/translucent top so that I can see when there is waste to be disposed of. The top has 4 clips to hold it on, and are easy to open and close for easy removal of the top for cleaning the litter pan. Highly recommended.
This cat box is fantastic! Its huge enough to fit multiples cats in there, and its so well made that it traps litter and most odors in there as well. my bathroom has never not been covered in cat litter, until this covered cat box entered our lives. The locking clasps/clips really do work, and are incredibly easy to operate. The hard plastic surface is very easy to clean, and is nonporous so there is no grooves or holes for stuff to get stuck. I really recommend this covered cat litter box to anyone with a cat, or even multiple cats. The odor trapping is so well done that guests don't realize we have a cat until she comes out from hiding!
I share my home w/ 4 cats 2 of whom need special consideration. One raises up his tush when he makes pee so I need an enclosed litter box. The other is a very large 22 lb boy who needs extra room to move around. I have not been able to find an enclosed pan with the dimensions of this one. Star #1. The seal between the cover and the pan itself is actually pretty good. I don't think there is such a thing as a totally leak-proof pan but this one does a darn good job. Star #2 Having a clear cover is a great bonus. My boys have become used to having a clear lid and I'm sure don't feel nearly as closed in as with a solid cover and seem more at ease. Star #3 Not sure if is a coating on the surface of the pan or if it is actually the type of plastic used but the litter doesn't adhere to the surface making it much easier to scoop. Also, the rounded design is nice. No corners to dig litter litter out. I use a clumping litter and anyone who does knows it can stick to the bottom of the pan if the litter level needs replenishing. Also, the surface does not seem to scratch up as easily. Consequently, the pan doesn't absorb the odor of the urine as readily as other pans I have used. Star #4. Lastly, the service from the seller was very good. I received the pans in a very timely manner and was pleased. I know the cost was a little more than I am used to spending but the good far outweighs the bad! Star #5. Definitely will buy more as needed.
My cats really like this litter box. It's big and easy to clean without any hard corners. The cats I own are large breed, so this is a good choice for them.
This cat litter box is just what I hoped it'd be! Super big enough for my best girl. My cat is not over weight, but 14lb.s and big. One night I really saw that her regular size litter box was a cramped fit. In looking on Amazon I found this 25" one, and what a difference for her!! She fits in there With room to spare! She's getting use to the clear lid, being that she's only had the solid ones, but it's working out just fine. You know Mama's gonna be happy if her baby's happy. I would encourage anyone who wants a decent, big, roomy litter box to get this one. I am very pleased with this product.
I love this litter box! I have two cats and I have a large litter box for them, but they get litter all over my floor. With this litter box, they don't get any litter on my floor. The dome top stops that! My cats love to use their new litter box! This litter box is very large, with an opening for my cats to get in and out of very easily. To clean the litter, you just take the dome top off, then put it back on when you are finished. This cat litter box is also durable. It is made of very thick plastic, so is the dome top. Both my cats and myself love our new litter box and I don't dread cleaning this litter box at all!
