Exactly what I needed. We have a big umbrella that needs strong support and this does the trick. I love the fact that it's flat, so it's not in your way when sitting at the table.

The best stand alone umbrella support there is. It prevents even an open umbrella from tipping over in the wind - up to a point of course. When the umbrella is folded down it would take a very strong wind to tip it over. It's very heavy and low to the ground and very wide which is what makes it so stable compared to any other.

The stand arrived in perfect condition (some have commented on the packaging, mine was perfect)and gives me the confidence to leave the umbrella up despite evening breezes that previously have broken 3 tabletops. I love it and would highly recommend this very sturdy stand. It's also thin enough to not interfere with our feet space when seated at the table.

After the cheap concrete umbrella base I purchased from a local retailer broke, I decided that I needed something more sturdy and attractive. It was so heavy, that I had to get a friend to put it on my deck for me. Putting it together only took 5 minutes, and it's extremely durable. I highly recommend this product. The quality is great for the price.

holds the umbrella firmly when used as a free standing holder. Heavy enough to do the job but it moves easily on the deck.

It's perfect! I needed a flat base to put it over my outdoor couch set and it was exactly what I needed. And it's heavy so no more flipped over and broken umbrellas. Yay!
