This solved a bad problem: our new adoptee was a house soiler. She was delighted when this litter box arrived, assuming correctly that it was for her. The other cats love it too. It is too small to be a primary litter box. For us it's the 3rd one, perfect for that. Litter does scatter, but since she did not accept the covered boxes well, we had no choice. I love the look of it & the quality. If it is to be your primary box or you have room, get the larger size.

Perfect for one cat! I had a larger box when I had 2 cats. This is great for one! My cat is big, about 13 LBS. It does OK with letter spray. My box sits on a small shelf just off the floor so I always get litter spray as my cat needs to pop in and out.

GREAT FOR MULTICAT USE!! I REALLY LIKE THE SIZE FOR KITTEN SIZE BUT NEED TO CHANGE TO LARGER SIZE AS THEY GOT BIGGER!!

It must be the curved shape and the rim around the top that keep almost all the litter inside the box no matter how energetically my cat buries her leavings. I already had the small size of this product, but it was barely big enough for even my small cat, so I got the medium size, and it's even better. The low profile lets me slide it under a low table, like a coffee table; with a skirt hanging from the table the box is still accessible for my cat but it's invisible to me and my guests -- and as long as I scoop the box every day, and change the litter every couple of weeks, there's no smell. And it's sturdy enough to hold a good amount of litter, so I don't fear it's going to collapse when I carry it outside to dump it.
